HMD Global continues to manufacture Nokia phones and they have introduced another addition to the list of their Nokia devices, and this time around it is the successor to the Nokia 7 dubbed Nokia 7.1.

Nokia 7.1 is definitely a mid-ranged device with a Snapdragon 636 chipset and spots some awesome specifications that might be of huge interest to Nokia fans. The device is a complete enhancement to the Nokia 7 and you should note that is another Android One project device.

With aluminium frame, it came with a 5.84inches PureDisplay and screen resolution of 2280 X 1080 with 19:9 aspect ratios.

There is a 3GB and 4GB ram variant with 32GB and 64GB internal storage and also a microSD slot capable of expanding the memory to 400GB.

  1. Nice smartphone, even though the 7.1 has HDR compatability, Nokia 7 plus has no notch but 7 plus does not have HDR, I would happily trade for the HDR for no notch. 7 plus display is really good for the price range just a dream.
What I want to know is does it have 4K video recording? I know there won’t be EIS if it does but that’s the same as the 7 Plus.
    Thank you for that article!
