How To Know The Registration Country Of A Google Adsense Account

Somebody recently contacted me and demanded the way to know the country that an Adsense account is registered with, and after explaining to him, I felt it will be a good share for those out there that might also want to know.

As part of Google requirements for Adsense publishers to be fully eligible for pay out, some countries publishers are required to submit tax information as part of billing details before pay-out will be made, so you should always endeavour to know your country Adsense full requirements when you are planning to participate in the adsense program.

Adsense has an access and authorization feature in which an Adsense account holder can invite a Gmail account holder that his/her email account is not yet associated with any Adsense account to partake in the Adsense publisher program.

Such a situation is one of the things that can lead an Adsense invitee to want to know the country the Adsense account is registered with.

Now for those that want to know the country an Adsense account is registered with, you need to have a registered Adsense account or have access to an Adsense account before you can know the country the Adsense account is registered with i.e. if you were not the person that registered and applied for the Adsense account originally.

To determine the particular country an Adsense account is registered to or assigned to, follow the simple steps below;

·     Log into the said Adsense account

·     Click on the gear setting icon at the top right hand side of the Adsense account dashboard

·     Select Payments from the drop down list to take you the Transaction History page

·     On the Transaction History page, by the right, you will see the account profile and a manage link, click the manage link to take you to the Payee Profile page

·     On the Payee Profile page, immediately the Payee profile, you will see edit link for Billing info, click on the edit

·     In the page that will show, come down to address Section and you will see the country flag icon and country abbreviation code that the Adsense account is registered with, and you cannot ordinarily edit that particular info.

So those are the steps to take if you are bent on know the country in which a particular Adsense account is registered with.
