How to browse all day with MTN night data plan on Android by combining android MTN simple server and proxydroid

Yes we are back again for better, so you will continue enjoying browsing all day with MTN night data plan on your android that you have been enjoying before with openVPN. I hoped you all enjoyed it with the openVPN but that was recently blocked.

Never too worry because I told you to just exercise little patience and bear with us as we root out another method for you.

Those that have been patiently waiting, I want to congratulate you all and say big thank you for your patience because we are here again to put smiles on your faces. 

And by the way, who told you that patient dogs no longer eat the fattest bones? No way, as they will always continue to eat the fattest and most sumptuous bones.

Remember that we talked about how to use MTN simple server to make your MTN night data plan to work all day on PC, and since then a whole lot of you have been grooving it as if there were no tomorrow. The good thing is that till this very moment it is still blazing on PC.

But I know that android users don’t like taking the last positions and always don’t like being left out from the fair share of the national cake. No problem at all, because you are not left out and that is exactly what we will be giving you in our today’s post.

Without blowing too much grammar, follow the steps below to make your MTN night plan blaze all day on your android;

= =>You need to set up your phone APN, Proxy address (IP) and Port. So go to your mobile phone network settings and set them up as follows;

ü                        

 =              =>APN = web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net

ü              =>Proxy address (IP)= 127.0.0.1

ü              =>Port= 8080.

= =>You need MTN simple server for android, carefully download it here

= =>Install the MTN simple server that you have downloaded and you will have something like that in the image below

= =>Click on settings on the top right corner of your open MTN simple server to configure it by tapping on each of the configurations and setting them up as indicatede below;

ü    

                 =>Pdproxy host = 10.199.212.2

ü              => Proxy Port = 8080

ü              => Injection method = choose GET

ü              =>Querry/url = http://web.blackberry.com

ü              =>Injection line = tap the enter button on your on-screen keyboard 4 times

ü              =>Log level = choose DEBUG

That is all for the simple server setup, then continue with the other steps

= =>You need proxydroid, download it here

= =>Install the proxy droid and set up only the Host and Port as follows;

ü 

                 =>Host = 127.0.0.1

ü              =>Port = 8080

= =>Above(not immediately above) the Host and port in the open proxydroid, you will see Proxy Switch off, so turn it on as can be seen in the image below.

= =>Finally go back to the MTN simple server and click on start (start on the big round red centralized button) as indicated in the image below. Minimize the simple server and locate any browser of your choice or apps and browse anytime of the day you like until you get tired or till your battery gets flat.
