How to apply for the current Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) job opening

In our country today, we all know the challenges facing both graduates and non-graduates alike in terms of trying to secure white collar jobs for their financial upkeep.

Some even have to pay through their nose in order to secure a good paying job for themselves. And any available job opening is always greeted by a mammoth crowd pushing to apply for that particular job.

But one thing I know is that all hopes are not lost even in this precarious condition facing job applicants, because there are still people applying for other numerous open positions and still securing jobs by just meeting the required standard and by following the right application process.

It is in this vein that I am presenting to you on how to apply for the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) current open position. The said open position has been on for the past 2 week or so and it will still remain open for qualified applicants till the 20th of October 2013.

But we noticed that so many people have been finding it difficult in going about the online application process, and some have questioned the authenticity of the 1,000 Naira fee being charged for the application process. But we have confirmed that the 1,000 Naira is a legal fee required for the application.

So we have decided to present to you a detailed step by step procedure on how to go about the online application.

Without wasting your time, if you deemed yourself as being qualified for the NIS current job and want to apply, follow the step below for your successful application for the position;

= => there you will see four service arms, but since it is the NIS that you are applying for and that is currently open, click the Apply button under the NIS log. The NIS is the first one from the left among the four service arms.

= => on the next page that will come up, fill the entire necessary field as required. Note that the entire fields marked with red asterisk there are must for you to fill, and don’t forget to upload your passport photograph as well. After filling, click the save and preview button bellow the page

= => the next page to come up will be a preview of your application where your application number will appear in red. Cross-check and see that everything was properly filled, then head to the bottom of the page and click the proceed tab.

= => next you will be taken to the payment information page. And note here that you will not be able to edit the application, once payment is made. Go down this page and check the terms of service box, immediately you tick the box, the make payment tab will appear, just click on it.

= => next step is the payment option page. Here you will see the visa/MasterCard and pay4me option tab. Currently the visa/MasterCard option is still having problem and have not been rectified so click on the pay4me tab to proceed.

= => you will be taken to the pay4me page where you will see the Bank option radio button, select it and click on continue tab.

= => after that the next page is where you will see the 8 participation banks which are; Diamond Bank, Eco Bank, Enterprise Bank, Fidelity Bank, Sterling Bank, UBA, Union Bank and Zenith Bank. Here just click on the continue tab.

= => the acknowledgment slip comes up now and you are required to print it out and take it along with you together with your 1,000 Naira to any of the designated banks listed above and pay in. when you present it to any of the banks, they are already aware of the account number to deposit it, so don’t bother about that.
