Do People Still Use BBM?
Gone are the days when Blackberry Messenger (BBM) was the king of mobile social chat messaging application and then it was exclusive to Blackberry users.
But as Blackberry business in the mobile arena began to dwindle, Blackberry now allowed one of its most prestigious BBM app to be used across other mobile platforms like Android and iOS.
In all attempt by Blackberry to resuscitate their dying mobile business still proved rather abortive and Blackberry continued going down like a sinking ship and not even keying into the manufacturing of android devices was able to help them out.
The name blackberry became so bastardized that anything that now has the Blackberry name attached to it is no longer cherished as it used to be in the past and the BBM quickly gave way to other messaging app like Whatsapp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger etc.
Though we still have the BBM messenger app on our android device, but we can’t remember last we tried to open it to see whether it is still functioning or not.
