Motorola Launches The Moto G5S And Moto G5S Plus With All Metal Unibody And Turbo Power

The Motorola Moto G5 series smartphones have been seen by many as some of the best mid-ranged device that are also highly affordable, and in a bid to pep up the game Motorola has gone further to launch what they consider special editions of the Moto G5 tagged Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus to serve as successors.

The Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus were made official yesterday with upgraded specs away from their predecessor Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus.

Starting with the smaller of the two, Moto G5S, it is built with an all metal unibody design, and spots a 5.2inches screen with Full HD display resolution of 1080 X 1920.

Moto G5S is powered with an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset with a clock speed of 1.4GHz. It features a 32GB internal memory supported by a 3GB RAM and external expandable microSD slot to the tune of 128GB.

The rear comes with a 16MP camera and the front a 5MP shooter for selfie lovers and in terms of connectivity, it supports various bands of 4G LTE connectivity.

The fingerprint scanner is located in the front on the home button and it runs on android 7.1 OS as the back of the Moto G5S packs a 3000mAh battery that incorporates a Turbo charge technology that promises up to 5hours of battery live after 15minutes of charge.

Coming to the larger Moto G5S Plus, it is also built with all metal unibody design and spots a 5.5inches screen with Full HD display resolution of 1080 X 1920.

Moto G5 Plus is powered by octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at 2.0GHz and it came in two variants in terms of internal storage and RAM with the 32GB/3GB and 64GB/4GB options.

The back spots dual 13MP cameras and the front came with an 8MP selfie taker. Like the other, it features fingerprint scanner on same position, runs on android 7.1 Nougat OS and also packs 3000mAh battery but with Turbo charge technology capable of providing 6hours of battery usage after 15minutes of charge.

Finally, coming down to pricing, while the Moto G5S is starting out at about $294 the larger Moto G5S Plus is starting out at about $353.
