Glo Launches Borrow Me Data, Reloads Gbam Plus, Double Free Tomorrow And IDD Packs
Glo on November 1st launched new product and reloaded 3 existing products to make them juicier.
The new product launched was tagged Glo Borrow Me Data, where new and existing Glo subscribers can now borrow data in the event they exhausted their current data plan or lack sufficient airtime credit to subscribe for a data plan.
The eligibility criterion for this package will depend on how long Glo subscribers have been the network and their average monthly data usage.
To opt into Glo Borrow Me Data, subscribers are required to dial *321# and then follow the menu options, where they can get real data credit and pay back with airtime during subsequent recharges.
Aside from the newly launched Glo Borrow Me Data, Glo also reloaded 3 existing packages, which are Gbam Plus 11k/s, double free tomorrow and IDD packs.
The reloaded Gbam Plus gives subscribers the ability to make flat rate calls at 11K/S (N6.60k/Min) to all local networks in the country and also for international calls to 30 top destinations at daily access fee of N5, which is deducted only when you initiate a chargeable call on each day.
To migrate to the new Glo Gbam Plus plan, subscribers are to dial the code *211#
For the reloaded Double Free Tomorrow, Glo subscribers are now credited with 200% of the airtime they used on a particular day for calls, SMS or data to use for free on the next day.
And the free double credit can be used to call all local networks, send SMS, browse and for international calls to top 5 destinations.

For example if subscribers use N200 airtime today for calls, SMS or data, they will be credited with N400 airtime the next day for free.

Then coming down to the new IDD packs, you have IDD 100 that allows subscribers 12minutes of calls valid for 3 days, IDD 200 allows subscribers 24minutes of calls valid for 7 days, IDD 500 that allows 60 minutes of calls for 14days and IDD 1000 that allows 150 minutes of calls for 30days.
In addition to the IDD packs, subscribers can also call up to top 30 international destinations at N6.60 per minute.
Finally, Glo also assured customers that benefits await those who port from other networks to the Glo network; that after porting, the first recharge of up to N500 will bonus N500 airtime for Glo-Glo talk time and 500MB data. In addition to that, they will also get 500MB bonus complimentary data for the next 6 months provided they use up to N1,500 monthly.
