So Google Truly Killed The Nexus Line With Google Pixel And Pixel XL!

It was like a James Bond movie to some, who were still expecting to see the next set of Google Nexus phones for this year that will be running on the Android Nougat 7.0 OS, but funny enough they got served by Google with entirely two different devices under the name Google Pixel and Pixel XL.

So if you are still waiting for a Nexus device this year, we presume it must be delusionary as Google has truly killed off the Nexus brand with their new self-branded and truly Google Pixel and Pixel XL phone.

And yes, Google on October 4th this year unveiled the Pixel devices that will now act as successor to the Nexus line of devices.

This was the first time that Google was launching their truly branded devices as can be seen with the big G symbols on the phones.

The two devices, Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL are premium android devices in all ramification, set to compete even favourably with the likes of Samsung flagship and Apple flagship devices for this year.

The 3 highlights of these two Google latest devices are; 

Both devices run on Google latest and newly upgraded Android Nougat 7.1, being the first to feature that.

Secondly is on their rear and front 12.3MP/8MP cameras with f/2.0 aperture, which Google claimed it’s the best of camera that can ever be found on a smartphone

And lastly is the incorporated Google Assistant, which can study users interaction with the device with time and that can be called up when you long-press the home button.

The price for the 32GB variant of the Goole Pixel is starting out at $649 while the 128GB goes for $749. Then for the Pixel XL the 32GB variant starts out at 769 while that of the 128GB goes for $869.

Finally, both devices are expected to go on sale by 20th of October, being tomorrow.
