The introduction of Windows 10 has given a new dimension to the configurations of your PC to use the MTN BBLITE and Simple Server Tweak for browsing and downloading with Chrome browser.

And I believe that those that have upgraded their device to Windows 10 are the people spreading the rumours that MTN BBLITE has stopped working on PC.

With Windows 10, the former setups on Mozilla Firefox to work with MTN BBLITE and Simple Server is not affected, but other browsers like Chrome, UCBrowser, Edge Browser etc. needs additional system network set up to actually make it work.

You should know that the reason why Mozilla Firefox is not affect is that Mozilla Firefox remains the only browser that has its own internet options settings embedded on the browser whereas the other browsers rely on the system setup internet option (proxy server) to actually get the BBLITE subscription and Simple Server tweak work on them.

Today we are going to be showing you how to actually set up the internet options on Windows 10 so you can also use MTN BBLITE with Simple Server tweak on those other browsers mentioned above.

We are going to be assuming that you have been making use of the Simple Server tweak on other lower versions of Windows OS, and maybe you have upgraded to Windows 10 and now noticed that it no longer working on those browsers.

But for the benefit of those that will want to know the normal Simple Server configurations for PC, you can follow it up here and maybe come back to this article for Windows 10 setup if you are already running Windows 10 on your machine.

Now if you have downloaded Simple Server for PC on the link above, to set up your Windows 10 PC for the Simple Serve and BBLITE tweak to work with Chrome, UCbrowser, Edge Browsers etc., follow the simple steps below;

·     On your Windows 10 machine, click on the Start-up menu button

·      Select Settings>>Network&Internet>>Dialup

·     On the Dial up menu, you will see the list of the network modem you are using, click on the network of your modem (MTN, Airtel, Glo or Etitsalt) and choose Advance Options

·     Scroll down to Manual Configuration and switch on the use a proxy server

·     Then below it, use 127.0.0.1 on the Address field and put 8080 on the Port field and finally click on the save button below.

Hurray! You have just finished configuring your Windows 10 to use those browsers with MTN BBLITE and Simple Server tweak.

After you have subscribed for the BBLITE plan, switched on your Simple Server, just launch any of those browsers and fire down browsing and downloading on your Windows 10.

Remember that only Mozilla Firefox is not affected with these settings and that for it has been described in the link provided above.
