Is There Any Disadvantage of Tweaking Smartphone (Android) IMEI?

Today, I can tell you that many folks out there are scared of tweaking their phones IMEI, especially that of their androids.

Their fear is even nowhere close to voiding the warranty that might be attached to their device, but they fear for something else; that maybe on the cause of tweaking their device IMEI, their phone might spoil as they usually put it.

Well…if you are new to IMEI tweaking, it won’t be surprised to know that you also hold such notion that tweaking of your phone’s IMEI might damage it.

In fact, some don’t even know what IMEI tweaking of phone entails, so I will take little time to bail those in that category.

Every phone is built with unique numbers, which are mostly 15 digits known as IMEI, used chiefly as identifier for a device…you can use a phone’s IMEI number to render a phone unusable.

Now, coming down to smartphone IMEI tweaking; it is a way of either adjusting the phone’s IMEI by changing some of the original IMEI digits or changing the entire IMEI to another phone or device IMEI.

And this can be done by gaining access to the phone’s engineering settings by using some utility tools and carrying out some manipulations.

However, tweaking the IMEI of certain phones like MTK android phones can be easier than tweaking that of other non-MTK devices like Samsung, Blackberry, I-phones etc. which requires more advance tools to do that.

Now you might ask why tweak a phone’s IMEI?

There are certain benefits that can come with tweaking of phones IMEI, for instance, down here people tweak their Android IMEI to that of blackberry thereby disguising the android as blackberry and with some network providers you can use the android to get the benefits that is often exclusive to blackberry.

With the topic of the day, you actually want to know if tweaking and re-tweaking of your phone might cause any form of damage to it.

From our experience, we will tell you that we have tweaked not less than 30 different phones just this year alone and inside those 30 phones, we have re-tweaked some of the phones for more than 50 times and none of the phones ever show any sign of malfunction pertaining to the IMEI tweaking.

So from our statistics, we can clearly tell you that with the right tools, you can tweak and re-tweak your phones IMEI countless number of times without any fear of damaging it.

The one negative thing that we know about IMEI tweaking is that in many countries, the act is considered as illegal and thereby voids any warranty that might be attached to the device.

But since you can tweak back the original IMEI at any time, you can stylishly do so and regain the warranty.

    3. Ok, Good, what you should do, is to download Kingo android root for PC. Install it on your PC, then on your phone, enable debugging before plugging it to your system with USB, then open the Kingo Root on PC and click the root.

To enable debugging, go through your settings>>about phones>>tap it like seven times to become a developer, after which you will see the debugging check box which will will tick.
