How to properly use your smartphone battery to extend the battery life

The other time after deep and thorough research and also testing, I wrote about how you can use your laptop battery to maintain and elongate its natural lifespan

This time around I have decided to let you know how best you can use your smartphone battery so you can enjoy your battery juice over a long period of time.

This has also been borne out of thorough research and testing for a long period of time to determine how well your smartphone battery can last or perform.

It is no news again that a lot of people after making use of their smartphone batteries just for a very short period of time they end up complaining that their batteries no longer last for them without even knowing that it even depends mostly on how they put their batteries to use, which in most cases appear to be the wrong way.

How to properly use your smartphone battery to extend the battery life
I want to tell you categorically that I am still enjoying the battery juice of one of my phones that I bought about 5 years ago, though obviously not as powerful again as compared to 2, 3 years ago but it is still serving me well just because of the way I handled it.

If you too follow properly what I about to reveal to you concerning your Smartphone batteries, you too can go ahead to enjoy your smartphone battery juice for a very long period of time without complaining much about your batteries.

Yes it is true that your natural Smartphone battery life diminishes with time as you continually use it, but how well you use it is also an important factor in determining how durable your smartphone batteries will tend to last for you.

Now when we talk of Smartphone batteries here, we are talking mostly of your original batteries which are mostly ‘follow come’ batteries with your new phones or that are sold separately by a real battery vendors; and not the fake batteries that are available everywhere.

Though you can still apply this procedures to your fake batteries, but you shouldn’t in any way expect or compare the durability of a fake battery to that of original one.

For your information here, don’t think that when we mention fake batteries that it is only China that manufactures them or that all China smartphone batteries are fake, as this is not true.

It is true that China also manufactures fake smartphone batteries and it is also true that they do manufacture original ones as well. In fact batteries are part of smartphone accessories and when you want to mention the countries that manufacture most of these original accessories, you cannot but just have to mention China, for they are known for that, and that is simply why you see many international smartphone industries often contract the manufacture of their accessories to China.

Without wasting your time, let me take you straight on how well you can use your smartphone battery to extend it.

Gone are the days when we have smartphone batteries that are mostly nickel based batteries that people were often encouraged to completely drain the battery first before fully recharging, but now most of the modern smartphone batteries are lithium-ion batteries which are far different  from the former.

= => do not use the generator set we often call ‘I better pass my neighbor ‘over here in charging your phone batteries.

In other words those small generators of 950 wattage are strongly discouraged for you to be using them to charge your phone batteries because of the nature of voltage the generator produces.

If you use them in charging your batteries, they tend to weaken your batteries with time rather than extending them. Bigger generator produces better voltage than those small ones or the best is still full AC voltage supplied at your home by the power company of your location.

I mentioned full voltage because low voltage is not also good in charging your phone batteries; it weakens the battery same way the smaller generator does.

= => Stop using fake chargers without monitoring your phone as it charge. If you must use or manage fake chargers, then you must endeavor to monitor your phone batteries as they are charging, which entails that by using such batteries, when your phone is fully charged, you disconnect immediately.

Also meaning you should not use fake chargers to do overnight charging, because while using most of the fake chargers, if your battery is full they tend to either start discharging and draining your batteries or continue charging your batteries for extended span of time even when the battery is already full thereby overworking the battery and shortening its lifespan.

The original charger is always design is such a way that it stops charging when your phone is full, so with original charger, you don’t need that constant monitoring when charging.

= => always make sure that your smartphones together with the batteries are always kept in a low temperature environment. I have seen and noticed a lot of people keeping their phones on a car dashboard in almost 900C weather.

If you are the type that does that, it doesn’t matter whether the phone is off, sun rays have direct negative effect on your phone battery and you know how hot your car's dashboard tends to be most time.

You are deliberately frying your battery by such action. That is why you will notice that the battery of those that stay or leave a very chill climatic environment tends to enjoy a longer battery lifespan as regard to this.

= =>The best way to charge is by plugging directly to your home wall outlet, charging with laptop, power banks and other means are not great ideas when you have power supply in your home. Direct charging charges faster, smoother and safer.

= =>though lithium batteries can be volatile at 0%, they are often equipped with self destructive circuits that will kill the battery to prevent it from explosion. This does not happen in many cases but to be fore warned is to be fore armed.

With all the above tips, if you put it into practice, then be rest assured that your smartphone batteries will last very long for your and the battery life is thereby extended
