Do Not Panic! The So Called “Killer Number” Is Just For Advert

There have been lots of anxiety been planted in the minds of many lately about a particular phone number 08030004900 tagged as “killer Number” calling people and conjuring them to go dive into lagoon.

Well, this cannot be totally dissociated with the latest news making the round about a medical doctor that recently dived into a lagoon and got drowned without any cogent reason for his action.

Since the incidence occurred, people have been circulating the 08030004900 number and asking friends and family members not to pick or answer any call coming from the number and that the number is an evil number that could conjure anyone that picks it into jumping into a lagoon.

But a detailed check on the number 08030004900, showed that it is an MTN number used strictly for advert purpose, which was not meant to receive call.

MTN uses that number for mostly their weekly inspirational adverts to their subscribers and therefore you do not panic when you receive call from that number, it’s either you ignore the call not out of anxiety or you pick the call to listen to the advert.
