Alert! The Bonus Values On Airtel Smart Connect Tariff Plan Was Increased To 600% But Don’t Do This

Airtel SmartConnect is Airtel Tariff plan that allows only new airtel prepaid subscribers to now have a 600% bonus data/airtime value credit on every recharge.

Airtel just recently modified this airtel SmartConnect tariff plan that used to give 500% bonus airtime and 1GB bonus data on every N1000 recharge and above when subscribers load credit with the *555*PIN# code.

But with the recent modification of the plan it is no longer that way and Airtel recently sent out notification messages to their subscribers about the changes from 500% to 600% bonus but did not detailed how the new modification now works and hence some airtel subscribers went and fell victim to it and are now telling stories that touches the heart about the modification.

But today, we are going to be detailing the real thing that is now obtainable with the latest modification of the Airtel SmartConnect tariff plan.

Now listen up!

In the airtel message, Airtel simply told their subscribers that “with effect from August 23^rd, your 500% bonus has increased to 600%”and that they should load with “*555*PIN#”

But if you are on Airtel SmartConnect tariff plan, this is what will happen to you if you now go ahead to recharge with *555*PIN#;

All your airtime will be converted to 600% bonus and you will no longer get 1GB bonus data even if you recharge with N1000 worth of airtime and above.

In other words in this new modification, if you go ahead to recharge with that code, you will not get any airtime credit on your main credit account balance as all will be converted to 600% airtime bonus credited in your bonus account.

For example if you decide to recharge your line with N100 worth of airtime with the *555*PIN#” code, the N100 will not be credited to your main balance account but you will automatically get N600 in your bonus account balance, which amounts to the 600% bonus.

And also note that the implication of that is that you cannot use the bonus to subscribe for data bundle, but you can only use it to call all networks and browse the internet directly.

But on the other way round, if you want to get the bonus and keep your airtime, you should now recharge with the normal airtime recharge code, which is *126*PIN#.

By so doing now, you will get your recharge amount credited to your main credit account, and 500% equivalent bonus equally split and credited to your airtime bonus account and data bonus account, all amounting to 600% bonus.

For example if you recharge your line with N1000 worth of airtime credit, you will get N1000 credited to your main airtel account balance, N2,500 airtime credited to your airtime bonus account and N2,500 credited to your data bonus account.

It is important to note that all bonuses are valid for 7 days and main account credit and bonus account credit are all charged at 50K/sec (N30/Min) rate.
